Evelyn Jane Hager, 86, of North Charleston, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2020. She was able to to spend her last moments expressing her love and receiving love from her family, which pretty well describes her favorite things to do.

For many years Evelyn was a waitress at The Top of The Inn. If you were around her long, you would soon hear stories of those days. She later established a chid care service where she formed bonds with many children, some who still call her "Grandma Evelyn" today.

Evelyn enjoyed all her yard work duties, including mowing her grass and raking the leaves. We have peace today knowing that she is now in Heaven with her restored body, where she will never be told she's not capable of doing all the things she loves.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Clark; mother, Ida Clark; brothers, Glen Clark, Northrup Clark, Harold Clark, and Sam Plaugher; sister, Charlotte Anderson; as well as her beloved grandson, Jonathan Harrison.

Evelyn is survived by her three daughters, Gloria Anderson (Jimmy), Drema Massie (Steve), and Loretta Sizemore (Buddy); four grandchildren, Chris Harrison (Stephanie), Danny Sizemore, Kimberly Massie (Shelly) and Steve Massie II (Loghan); 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, at Anderson Cemetery, Dunbar.

All COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines will be followed at all times.
