She was a member of Spruce Street United Methodist Church in Morgantown, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a past First Lady of the Morgantown Elks Lodge and the West Virginia State Elks Association.

She married Shinnston native Edwin Lee Kimble on August 23, 1941, and they celebrated 23 wonderful years together until his untimely death on December 24, 1964. Evelyn later worked in the office of Morgantown High School, and in the President's Office at West Virginia University until December 1969, when she married Sutton native Dr. Brady F. Randolph, and moved to Ohio.

Evelyn enjoyed flowers and gardening. She had travelled extensively, and was an avid sports fan, following West Virginia University sports, and remained a member of the WVU Alumni Association. Evelyn also enjoyed most college and pro sports. She especially enjoyed chaperoning Morgantown High School Band Trips from 1964 through 1967.

She is survived by her son, Daniel R. Kimble, and his wife, Beth, of Nitro, and two granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth and Melanie Leigh.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Edwin, she was preceded in death by her first-born son, David Lee Kimble, and her second husband, Brady Randolph.
