Fay Marie Jack, born March 15, 1924, died on December 14, 2025 at the age of 101.

She would be the first to say that she was 'blessed', but her secret to a good life was in blessing others.  Many family and friends have received those blessings through a word of encouragement, a card, a plate of homemade cookies, or a container of soup or potato salad.

Fay was a 96 year long member of Dunbar United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Dunbar Women's club, a hospice volunteer for many years, and an avid bridge player.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Myrtle Kessell; her husband of 62 years, Kenny Jack; along with her sister, Virginia Lytton.

Fay is survived by two children, Robert Jack and Bonnie Rowley (Steve); one grandchild, Brent Rowley (Katie); one great-grandchild, Hazel Fay Rowley; one sister, JeanAnn Nisbet; in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Her family is very grateful to the caregivers from A Special Touch In Home Care who helped us through her final days, and especially for Jessica who became like family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
