Faye Virginia Donohoe, 89, of Nitro, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Valley Center.
She was formerly employed by the McClung & Morgan Dept. Store at the South Charleston and St. Albans locations. Mrs. Donohoe attended the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Spring Hill where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was leader of the Prayer Coffee on Tuesday mornings. She was also a volunteer for Kanawha HospiceCare.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Blake, grandson, Gary Pore, brother, Therion Cobb and sister, Frances McCleron.
Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Gunder of Finlay, OH and Teresa Buckalew of Parkersburg; sisters, June LaFleur of Eunice, La. and Mildred Jablonski of Portland, OR. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. John Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
