Faye Young, 96, of Dunbar passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on June 8, 2025.

Faye grew up on Grapevine in Sissonville, and raised her children on Little Sandy Road in Elkview.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Young and her son, Mike Young.

Left to carry on her legacy of kindness and goodwill towards everyone she encountered are her son and daughter-in-law, Lanny and Pam Young of Yorktown, VA; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Bill Haskins of Charleston; along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Faye requested that there only be a small graveside service.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Rock Cemetery on Little Sandy Road, Elkview.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
