Fiauna Marie Brown Cardwell departed this life on March 29, 2025.

Fiauna was born on July 24, 1942 to the late Gladys Brown Foster and Charles Brown.

She was educated in Kanawha County Schools and attended West Virginia  State College.  Fiauna worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Housing Management Specialist for 32 years.  She was a devoted member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church and a member of the choir.

Fiauna was preceded in death by her dearly beloved sister, Yvonne Brown Strickland, and daughter, Gail Rene Cardwell Black.

Left to cherish Fiauna's memory are son, Mark (LaTisha); four grandchildren, Ronald Cardwell (Asiah), Asia Brown (Dame), Mario Black (Stefani), and Paris; great-grandchildren, Phil, Patience, Braezlyn, Kaenan, Aspen, Oaklyn, and Seven.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
