Florence O. Hutchison, 93, of South Charleston, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

She was a retired dental hygienist and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hutchison was born June 6, 1917 in Winfield, daughter of the late James and Laura Belle Doss.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kermit R. Hutchison, Sr., sisters, Pearl Lloyd and Irene Lilly and brother, Frank Doss.

Mrs. Hutchison was a former member of the South Charleston Safety Commission, the Country Club Acres Garden Club, the Rebekah Lodge of South Charleston and the Kanawha Country Club.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Patricia Hutchison of South Charleston; step-grandchildren, Vicki Thomas and Mark Cook of Teays Valley; eight step-great grandchildren and four step-great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday, September 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
