Floyd A. "Abe" Angelo, 81, of Charleston went home to glory on July 4, 2017.

Abe was a very friendly man with a sweet spirit. He enjoyed fishing and loved being with his church family at Bethany Baptist Church. He always carried the New Testament in his shirt pocket to carry him through his day. He was a dedicated employee of General Engineering for 28 years.

Abe was a very loving father and grandfather and was always devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Angelo; mother, Marguerite Powers; and brother, Ronald K. Powers.

Abe is survived by his children, Karen Angelo Brooks of Charleston, Adrian Angelo of Martinsburg, and Beth Plant of TN; grandchildren, Blake Brooks, Elizabeth Angelo, and Nicholas Angelo.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
