Forest Gerald Clonch, 78, of Dunbar, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2008.
Gerald retired from C & P Telephone Co. of WV with 34 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dunbar, where he served as a deacon.
Preceding Gerald in death was Joanne Nelson Clonch, his first wife and his parents, Forest and Betty Clonch.
Survivors include his wife, Rahma Jean Dickens Clonch; children, Mary Beth Clonch Tincher and her husband, Jim, George Derek Dickens and Jeri Lynn Clonch McGrew and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Heather Dunlap Horan and her husband, Mitch, Bethany Tincher, Jonathan Tincher, Miranda McGrew, Derek Alan Dickens and Sean Michael Wines. His first great grandchild is due in June.
A celebration and remembrance of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, at the First Baptist Church, Dunbar, with the Rev. Thomas Stevens, Jr. and the Rev. Mark A. Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, following the service.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by family and a host of friends.
