Foster O. Stidd's Obituary
Foster O. Stidd, 92, of Dunbar, departed this life and went to his heavenly home on August 19, 2012 at Valley Center.
He was a member and deacon of Dunbar First Baptist Church and was retired from Union Carbide Corporation with 43 years of service.
He was born to the late Charles and Laura Stidd and was preceded in death by his first wife, Veda Stidd and granddaughter, Jennifer Brown .
Foster is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Stidd; daughters, Lou Ann Brown and her husband, Butch of Dunbar and Joan Good and her husband, Frank of Kernersville, NC; four grandsons and seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Theresa Haid and brother-in-law, Joe Finerty and his wife, Martha.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doyle D. Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 1111 Lee Street, East, Charleston, WV 25301.
