Frances Ellen Smith's Obituary
Frances Ellen Smith, 83, of Charleston, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012, at her home.
She was a homemaker and loved being outdoors and taking care of her dogs and cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson "Jim" Smith and her son, Alva Lewis Preston.
Surviving are her daughter, Janette Tyree and her husband, Anthony "Tony" of Annapolis, MD; brother, Walter Cavanaugh and his wife, Betty of Charleston; Mike West and grandchildren, Raj, Garland and Nikki Tyree and Chris Preston and Melinda Stanley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
