Franklin Woodrow Frame, 87, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully from natural causes on July 14, 2024.

He was born on June 7, 1937 in South Charleston to the late Robert Russell and Garnet Mae Frame, but he always celebrated his birthday on June 6th.

Frank, who was fondly referred to by many as "Burrhead", was competitive at Horse showing and mud buggy racing for many years achieving more accolades than can be counted.  He was a teamster, part of UMWA and was an independent truck driver as well for most of his career.  He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with family and friends.

Because of his fondness of nature and love of animals, he raised and cared for many farm animals and always had a companion dog at his side.  He was also an avid hunter his entire life and truly enjoyed sharing his knowledge amongst his family, friends, and especially his sons.

Frank is survived by his sons, Franklin Woodrow Frame, II (Melissa) of St. Albans and Robert Todd Frame (Mendi) of Ash, NC; brother-in-law, Larry Fogerty of South Charleston; grandsons, Jeremy Robert Frame (Brittany) and Joshua Ryan Frame both of Ash, NC; granddaughters, Mackenzie Linn Frame of Hurricane, Kelsey Marie Frame of Milton, and Amanda Lynn Frame of South Charleston; great-grandsons, Jacob Ryan Frame and Maverick Austin Frame both of Ash, NC; along with many other family members and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge and extend their gratitude to the staff at Valley Center Nursing Home who loved and cared for Frank so patiently with special recognition going to his cousin, friend and caregiver, Carolyn "Sue"
Wiblin.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rusty Fogerty officiating.  Burial will follow in Bailey-Cobb Cemetery, South Charleston.

Family will welcome friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, July 19 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
