Obituary

Franklin Wayne Pauley, Sr., 67, of St. Albans, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2009, after a short illness.

He had been an employee of the Kanawha County School Board and the Volkswagen Stamping Plant.

His favorite past time was hanging out with Mike and the other guys at K & M Auto Garage in St. Albans.

He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Pauley; mother, Louise Pauley Watts; two brothers, Roger Pauley and Woodrow Pauley; sister, Mona "Sis" Hill.

Mr. Pauley is survived by his best friend and lovely wife, Donna White Pauley; son, Franklin W. Pauley, Jr.; stepchildren, Ronnie Erwin, Nikki Joyce, and Travis Erwin all of St. Albans; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Danny Miller of Alum Creek, Roberta and John Harper of Red House, Carol and Joe Burgess of South Charleston; grandchildren, Anthoney Erwin, Abby Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his wife and all his family and friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. John P. Lilly and Teresa at Dunbar Medical Associates, and Dr. Rob Keith for their kindness and help with everything. You all really went beyond your duties.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Juanita Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
