On January 27, 2022, our dad, Fredrick Robert Pomeroy, AKA "Buzzy" AKA "Pops", of Charleston gained his wings with his family by his side after suffering a longtime illness.

"Buzzy" "Pops" loved to play music and be around his grandkids, great-grandkids, friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Lilly and Seth Pomeroy; brothers, Jerry, Harvey and Frank; and sisters, Linda and Carol.

He leaves behind his son, Christopher Pomeroy of Charleston; daughter, Rea Pomeroy of South Carolina; daughter-in-law, Betty Pomeroy of Charleston; sisters, Little Brenda, Sue, Millie and Lavonne Williams; grandkids, Allison, Logan, Ian and Zack; great-grandkids, Nevaeh, Grayson, Chalynn and Corey; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will be having a memorial/celebration of life for him in the spring to remember him and how much he was loved by everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed by his family and friends. God sure gained a special person the day he called Pops home.
