Gary W. Bays, 69, of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

He was born on July 26, 1949, in South Charleston, to the late Stanton and Freda Irene Bays.

Gary taught science at George Washington Middle School, in Eleanor and math at Hurricane Middle School. He also taught homebound students.

He is survived by his brother, Steven Bays, of South Charleston; and his uncle, Jerry Harper, of Denver, CO.

A funeral service will be at 1p.m., on Tuesday, December 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Ray Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Bays, Cemetery, St. Albans.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
