Gary Wayne Carr's Obituary
Gary Wayne Carr, 57, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Wayne retired from Union Carbide Tech Center after 25 years of service, and was recently employed by WV Department of Highways. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He served his country in the US Navy.
Mr. Carr is survived by his wife, Cathy Carr; son, Matt Carr of Charleston; daughter, Julie Carr of Orlando, FL; parents, Glen and Lou Ella Carr of Teays Valley; sister, Sherri Carr of Teays Valley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Manny Gelido officiating. Interment with military honors will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, at Christ the King Catholic Church.
