Gary Meral "Coube" Carrier III, 43, of South Charleston, passed away on August 20, 2021 in a car accident.

He was born on January 20, 1978. He graduated from South Charleston High School and worked for the City of South Charleston Public Works.

Gary loved to play video games. He was loving and kind and enjoyed spoiling his niece and nephew. Gary was a clown, but also known as a "gentle giant". Gary was a grown man, but our spoiled baby. He was loved by so many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mae and Bill Pauley, Sr .; grandfather, Gary Carrier, Sr.; father, Gary Carrier II; brother, Christopher Carrier; uncle, Billie Pauley; and aunts, Nina Brown and Shirley Bryant.

Gary is survived by his parents, Janet and Ronnie Turley; sisters, Jessica Carrier and Elizabeth Turley; niece, Aubrey Bailey; nephew, Nolan Bailey; adopted nieces, Jazzlena, Alicia, Khloe; grandmother, Sue Carrier; brother, Steven Carrier; uncle, Greg Carrier and wife Teresa ; aunt, Mary Hardwick and husband Terry; girlfriend, Jonita Kilgore; step-daughter, Bree Aisel; step-son, Braydon Aisel; along with many cousins, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Charles Shelton officiating.
