Gary Stephen Harpold, 72, of South Charleston, West Virginia passed away suddenly July 3, 2023.

Originally from Dunbar, Steve moved to Florida in 1985 where he lived for more than 30 years. He worked in retail management, and eventually retired from Sears. In 2016, Steve returned to West Virginia to be with his family.  He loved the beach, working in the yard and gardening, watching birds, watching the Mountaineers play, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Harpold.

Steve is survived by his mother, Sarah Harpold; children, Greg, Neil, and Sara Harpold; granddaughter, Allyson Harpold; many nieces and nephews; and siblings, Mike, Joel, and Marc Harpold.

A private celebration of life will be held for the family.  Condolences for the family are appreciated and may be left on this website.
