Gary "Butch" Knight, 73, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his family.

Butch was the son of Jack Knight and Phyllis Jarrell Knight Thorne, both of whom preceded him in death..

Butch will be greatly missed by his two sons, William Keith Knight and Jon Brent Knight; six grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren, including one very special great-grandson, Drew "Deedlebug" Vogelaar, who he loved dearly. Butch will also be missed by his sister, Nancy Knight Price; and companion of eighteen years, Nancy Parcell.

Butch would have wanted to thank Health Right, his many physicians, Dunbar Senior Services and Hubbard Hospice House for their help during his long illness.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.

He will always be in our hearts.
