Gary W. Legg's Obituary
Gary W. Legg 72, Of Evansville, IN, formerly of St. Albans, passed away at River Pointe Health Campus in Evansville, IN on May 9, 2014 surrounded by loved ones after he lost his 15 year battle to Parkinson's Disease.
Gary was born September 25, 1941 to parents Rev. John E. (Budd) Legg and Frances Kathleen Legg in Charleston.
Gary is preceded in death by daughter Diana Lynn Legg and parents John E. (Budd) Legg and Frances Kathleen Legg formerly of Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda J. (Hart) Legg; three children, Susan McKinley and husband John of Columbus, OH, David Legg and wife SamieJo of Oxford, AL, and Karen Mosteller and husband Tony of Evansville IN; brother, John E. (Jeb) Legg Jr. and wife Donna of Dunbar; as well as 5 grandchildren, Alex, Zach, Holly, Carter, and Carson.
Gary was a retired electrician of 54 years and a member of IBEW Local #466. He was a member and Past Master of Dunbar Masonic Lodge #159 in Dunbar.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Mayford Witt officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers the family would request donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at www.michaeljfox.org .
