Gary Norman Wiseman, 68, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2017.

He was born in Charleston to John Sr. and Betty Wiseman on September 26, 1948.

Gary served in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Once back from Vietnam he worked with his brother John, at Wiseman Construction for many years where he fell in love with carpentry/woodwork. He spent a lot free time making tables, boxes and other neat woodwork.

He was preceded in death by his father John Wiseman Sr.

He is survived by children, Dakota Wiseman of South Charleston, Wade Wiseman of Ona, Jordan Wiseman of South Charleston, and Logan Wiseman of South Charleston; four grandchildren, Garrett, Levi, Jeremiah and Isaac Wiseman; brothers, John Wiseman and Phillip Wiseman; and sister, Ruth Sloan.

There will be a visitation from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, followed by a procession at 1:30 p.m. to Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery for a graveside service with military rites.
