Gary Nelson Potter's Obituary
Gary Nelson Potter, 58, of Elkview, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, at his home.
He was a professor for the Bridgemont Community Technical College in Montgomery and worked in the printing industry for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Girard College in Philadelphia, PA, WV Tech and Marshall University. Gary found his true calling when he became a professor at Bridgemont Community Technical College. He was a golf enthusiast who loved to spend time on the golf course.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Kathryn Elizabeth Potter.
Surviving are his loving wife, Elizabeth Potter; brother, Bruce Potter and nephew, Jeffrey Potter, both of Cherry Hill, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Institute Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. James Patterson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard, W., Charleston,WV 25312-2536.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar
