Gaynell Tyree, 74, of Dunbar went home to be with the good Lord on her birthday, May 6, 2016. We thank and praise God for his blessings; we know she isn't suffering or in pain anymore.
Gaynell was a happy homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tyree; father, Jasper Dyer; mother, Ethel Napier; sisters, Bessie Martin and Judy Hackney; brothers, Gene and Bob Dyer; and grandson, Bradley Tyree.
Gaynell is survived by her daughters, Donna Tyree and her life partner Jack Sampler, Christena Mullins and her husband Ray, and Regina Tyree; sisters, Louise Ratliff, May Slazo and her husband Jack, Ernestine Gilkerson and her husband Junior, Donna Kay Pearson and her husband David; brothers, Fred Dyer and his wife Joyce, James Clyde Napier and his wife Patti; grandchildren, Eric, Lee and his husband Sam, Tabatha, and Brianna; two greatgrandchildren, Ryan Haynes and Haley McFaddin.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 9 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
