Obituary

Geneva Ann Jones Bailey, 94, left this world to be with Jesus and our dad, to continue the love in Heaven that she showed us here on earth.

She was born February 21, 1924, raised her family in Dunbar, and passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Our mother was a precious, pure, humble, loving, caring, sheltering, kind, considerate, washed in the blood of Jesus, child of God, and caretaker to all in her house. She freehand copied the Bible to paper 5 times, one copy for each of her children. She lived a full life, was proud of her children and grandchildren, and made us super smart to become great. If we are only half as strong as the rock that made us, we will be indestructible. Our parents now have new bodies and can walk down the streets of Heaven together again. Dad/ Grandpa has waited long enough for his love to come home. They are complete again.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband and sweetheart of 69 years, Earl D. Bailey; parents, Alpha and Lona Jones; brothers, Howard and John Jones.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her children, Ann Redmond and her husband John deceased) of Oklahoma, Richard Bailey of South Charleston, John and his wife, Martha Bailey of Nitro, Nancy Lovejoy of Charleston, and James and his wife, Kathleen Bailey of Florida; three grandsons, Chris and his wife, Traci Mallett, Marcus and his wife, Betsy Bailey, and Patrick Bailey; great granddaughters, Savannah Mallett and Shyanne Mallett

Friends may visit from 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

A private, family graveside service will held in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
