Genevieve Louise Foster, 83, of South Charleston passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 after a long illness.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who was very devoted to her family. She retired from Kanawha County schools where she was a cook.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Foster; and parents, Herbert and Bertha Bays.

She is survived by her daughter, Melody (Tim) McGraw; grandchildren, Gennie Bradley and Meggan Litton; great-grandchildren, Addy Bradley and Ayria Litton; sisters, Betty Shultz and Gracie Athens; brother Michael Bays; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with Pastor Mark Thaxton officiating.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
