Genevieve Smail Hoff, 83, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 6, 2011.

She was born May 3, 1928 in Sharon, WV, and was raised on Second Avenue in South Charleston. Genevieve married Harry E. Hoff, Jr., on June 6, 1947. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Dunbar and the Order of Eastern Star in South Charleston. Genevieve was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Harry E. Hoff, Jr.; parents, Thomas C. and Josie M. Landers Smail; and brother, E. Thomas Smail.

She is survived by her son, Steven N. Hoff and wife, Regina of Camp Creek; daughter, Joyce L. Lloyd and husband, Brady of Nitro; grandchildren, K. Andrew Dean and K. Amanda Dean of Dunbar, Emily G. Hoff of Camp Creek and Timothy Hoff; great grandchildren, Josie L. Nida, Kason A. Dean and Madison P. Dean of Dunbar.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Ray Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
