Genevieve Mae Igo, 86, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

She was born July 29, 1934, in Mason County, to the late Thomas and Mary Elliot.

Genevieve was a homemaker and a beloved mother of four children, whom she loved very much. She enjoyed arts and crafts and traveling with her sisters on road trips.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Igo, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Sylvia Skeens; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Genevieve is survived by her children, Connie Thaxton Igo of Dunbar, Drema Cox (Danny) of Parkersburg, Greg Igo (Wanda) of Dunbar and Robin Rawlings (Rick) of Ripley; grandchildren, Michelle Burdette (Donald) of St. Albans, Amanda Thaxton (Tommy Elliot) of Cross Lanes, Adam St. Clair, USAF, Samuel St. Clair (Tiffany) of Belpre, OH, Jason St. Clair (Emily) of Parkersburg, Bennett Ward and Sharon Skeens (David) of Dunbar; sister, Dollie Peal of St. Albans; brother Bobby Elliot (Cheryl) of Charleston; great-grandchildren, Brittany Kalp (Aaron), Stephanie Eagle (Nick), Gary Eagle (Alexandria), Samantha Burdette, Shaina Burdette, Kimerly Skeens and Heather Skeens; 8 great-great grandchildren, Kenzie, Khloe, Isabella, Darris, Elijah, Jade, Aria and Amaya; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, July 19 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor David Keeney officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
