George Derek Dickens, 53, of Dunbar went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on November 11, 2012.
He lived in Whitesville, WV during his younger years, and graduated from Sherman High School in 1978. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dunbar.
Preceding him in death were his fathers, George Dickens and Gerald Clonch.
Survivors include his mother, Rahma Dickens Clonch; sons, Derek Alan Dickens and Sean Michael Wines; sisters, Mary Beth Clonch Tincher and Jeri Lynn Clonch McGrew; nieces, Heather Horan, Bethany Tincher, and Miranda McGrew; nephew, Jonathon Tincher; and great nieces, Addyson and Kynlee Horan.
A celebration and remembrance of life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, at Keller Funeral Home with the Reverend Phil Shields and Reverend Mark Jarrell officiating. A service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Pineview Cemetery following the service at Keller Funeral Home.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
