George M. Robinson's Obituary
George M. "Jack" Robinson, Jr., 85, of Dunbar, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 at Hubbard Hospice House.
He was a retired employee of Union Carbide with over 41 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Beni Kedem Shrine and Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church, Dunbar.
Preceding him in death were his sisters, Sara Roberts, Ruth Boyd, Helen Mitchell; brothers, Raymond and Richard and step-son, Jerry A. Cook.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Vivian; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Janice Robinson; grandson, Jerry Cook and daughter-in-law, Janice Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the employees of Valley Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association Animal Shelter, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311.
