George Curtis Shamblin, 40, of Charleston, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

He was born on January 8, 1980, in Charleston, to George and Reba Shamblin.

George was very proud of his children. He had a very strong faith in God and was baptized in 2018 by Pastor Bron at the Nitro Church of the Nazarene. He loved animals, had an infectious smile, unforgettable sense of humor, and he was able to make everyone laugh. George struggled with addiction and loved to help others through their recovery journey.

George is survived by his twin children, Curtis and Mary Shamblin of Scott Depot; father, George Shamblin and his wife Tawnya of Ormond Beach, FL; brothers, Robert Shamblin and his wife Crystal of Erwin, TN. and Dylan Shamblin of Ormond Beach, FL; and his companion, Faith Logan of Charleston.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Bron Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
