Georgia Ellen Covert

Georgia Covert made Myrtle Beach SC her home for the last 3 years, but lived in Dunbar most of her life.   She went home to be with her Lord on October 31, 2018 at the age of 94.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and neighbor.

Mrs. Covert was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Orlando Covert and her parents Charlie and Bessie Beaver.

She is survived by her children Brenda and Sonny Green of Michigan and Charlie and Jennifer Covert of South Carolina; grandchildren Lyndsey and Bill Gattie and Michele and Mike Schwab of Michigan, Gina and Robert Michaud of Arizona, Brian and Melissa Covert and Alison and Ryan Justice of South Carolina; great grandchildren Ben and Nick Gattie and Autumn and Delaney Schwab of Michigan and Harleigh and Haven Justice of South Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Marge Miller and sisters-in-law Laurene Lyons and Midge Beaver along with a host of nieces and nephews,

The funeral service will be held at Dunbar Mountain Mission at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, with visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Pastor Ray Parsons will officiate, the funeral and graveside services. Mrs. Covert will be laid to rest beside her husband in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
