Gladys Ellen Snodgrass, 95, a resident of South Charleston, born November 27, 1918 in Roane County passed away on April 22, 2014.
"WHEN I AM GONE DO NOT WEEP I AM ONLY ASLEEP"
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hester Ellis; son, Dwayne Ellis; brothers, Harry and Curt Ellis; step-son, Gary Jackson; husbands, Paul Jackson and Roy Snodgrass.
Gladys is survived by daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ellis of Ohio; grandchildren, George (Flora) Ellis and Sharon Ellis of Wooster, Ohio, Brandon (Julia), Cheyenne and Derek Ellis all of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Zach, Ian, Layla and Hunter; stepsons, John, Doug (Becky) and Larry Jackson; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Gladys was an active member of Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School for 57 years. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Frank Goff officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to either Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, 102 Nazarene Drive, South Charleston, WV 25309 or Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
