Glenn R. Cain, 74, of Dunbar, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

He was born on the afternoon of November 15, 1951, at the home place on Oliver St. to Robert H. and Harriet E. Cain. He was number seven of eight children born to this union. As a young child he loved to sing and play his (dume) guitar. He attended schools in St. Albans and later served his country by joining the Navy. Later he married the love of his life Joan Kersey, to this union two sons were born.

Glenn was proceeded in death by Dad and  Mom and four siblings.

He is survived by his former wife Joan Cain, sons Glenn and Augustus. Four grandsons, Duwardo, Trayvon, Jaylen and Tavius Cain, all of Canada. Survived by brother Eugene Cain, Ramona Jackson and Carol Claytor, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him. Glenn had a great love for poetry and in his later years he wrote many himself. Rest now brother, father, friend. The pain is over!! Glory.
