Obituary

Glenn Edward Williams, 78, of South Charleston, WV passed away peacefully while holding his beloved wife Brenda's hand on February 25, 2025.

He was born on June 28, 1946 in Kanawha County West Virginia, to the late Burley and Maxine Williams.

Glenn served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft rotor and propeller crew chief.  When he left the service, he went to work for the city of South Charleston until he was hired at FMC Chemical Plant as a chemical operator.  After retiring from FMC after dedicating many years to the plant, Glenn just couldn't sit still so he went to work for Thomas Hospital.  He worked for several years at Thomas until he finally decided it was time to "retire".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by multiple siblings; and most importantly his two sons, Glenn and Chad.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda; brothers, Steve and Allen Williams; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Thomas Hospital ICU and their step down team.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.  Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans
