She was born February 17, 1911 in Knott County, KY to the late Henry and Carrie Combs. Grace was the last of nine children. She was a school teacher in Knott County, KY during the late 1920's and early 1930's. Grace and her sister, Gladys Arthur, worked in the Naval Ordinance Plant during World War II.

She married, Tyrus Campbell of Perry County, KY on September 26, 1939, and eventually moved to WV in the 1940's where they lived the rest of their lives in Spring Hill, WV. Grace was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Harold Campbell, and his fiancée, Lynn Storrick of Hurricane; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Gene Raynes of South Charleston; grandchildren, Derek Raynes, Jared Raynes; niece, Velva Morrison, and her husband, John; sister-in-law, Nancy Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, March 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Tom Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
