Obituary

Grace Waveline Gallimore Worley, 82, of Dunbar, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Cedar Ridge Center, Sissonville, with loving family by her side.

Waveline was born May 2, 1927, to Gertie Cook Gallimore and Steve Edward Gallimore, both of whom predeceased her. In addition, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clement and Ernest; sisters, Joretta and Maxine; and precious granddaughter, Kelly Jo Means Worley.

Wavie worked until she was 75 years of age, at which time she retired after working the prior 20 years at the Snak Bar in the Atlas Building in Charleston.

Left to cherish many fond memories are son, James S. Worley, and his wife, Becki, of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Kathleen "Lucy" Worley McKinney of Dunbar; sisters, Charmaine Mazzei, and her husband, Frank, of Nitro, Lola Craft of Michigan; sisters-in-law, Bea Mae Gallimore of Seng Creek, Inez Gallimore of Naoma; beloved granddaughter, Christina Grace McKinney of Dunbar; beloved grandson, Christopher David Means of Roanoke, VA; great grandson, and light of her life, Jared Malik McKinney of Dunbar; a multitude of nieces and nephews, and last, but not least, her and Jared's cat, Boogie, whom they both love dearly. Additionally she will be greatly missed by her "adopted" daughter, Margo West, and prior caregivers/helpers Marissa Samples and Guy Hill.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 30, at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, November 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
