Gregory Dean Garland, Sr., 60, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

He was a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Garland; mother, Laura M. Garland of Dunbar; brothers, Richard and Billy; and sister, Jeannie.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby M. Garland of Dunbar; son, Gregory Dean Garland, Jr. of St. Albans; daughter, Angela Woodrum (Chris) of Sumerco, Lincoln County; grandchildren, Devon, Jessie and Holly Paige; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Fred Walker officiating.
