Gregory Norman Hunt, 61, of Dunbar gained his wings on July 2. 2022 after a battle with a long illness.

He was a self employed contractor and was awesome at his profession.

Greg was a very loving, joking and fun-loving man. He never knew a stranger. Greg is going to be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren D. Hunt, Sr.; mother , Janice C. Hunt; and brother, Warren D. Hunt, Jr.

Greg is survived by his son, Joseph "JD" Hunt; daughter, Dena Brown; granddaughter, Sidnie Brown; sisters, Tamra Lancaster of Scott Depot, Cindy (Jackie) Cantrell of Rock Branch, Tina (David) Asbury of Poca, Sherri (Chris) Phillips of Angelton, TX and Ronda (Dwayne) Hunt of St. Albans; brother, Waylon "Darren" Hunt of Dunbar; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, at Shalom Baptist Church, 11479 Hurricane Creek Rd, Winfield, WV 25213, with Pastor Steve Blake officiating.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
