Guy Thomas Brown, Sr. 83, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Brown and Geneva Bowles Brown.

Guy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Etta Brown; his three children, Gytina Roy (Michael), Terri Traverso (John) and Guy Thomas Brown Jr. (Michelle); three grandchildren, Briana Roy, Bryan Roy and Guy Thomas Brown III; four sisters, Sephronia Collins of MD, Norita Harris of WV, Mary Gilmer of GA and Barbara Allen (Bill) of TN; brother, Leo of MD; his very special niece, Faith Moss (Bill); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, at Ferguson Memorial Baptist Church, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
