Guy E. Sharp, 73, of Dunbar, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his home.
He was a retired meat cutter for Fas Chek and a US Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Sharp.
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Edna Sharp; daughter, Deborah Frasher and her husband, Henry of Wayne; sons, Edward Sharp and his companion, Liz of Brighton, Michigan and Scott Sharp and his wife, Cindy of St. Albans; brothers, Bob and Hubert Sharp of Charleston, Tom Sharp of Elkview and Rex Sharp of Mill Creek; grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua and Kasandra Sharp, and Stephanie Frasher; step-grandchildren, Patrick Frasher and Kimberly Grimm; great grandchildren, Natalie Hill, Brityn and Bailey Frasher.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. It was Guy's wish that there be no funeral service and that he be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a favorite charity in Guy's memory.
