Hallie Harlan Samples' Obituary
Hallie Harlan Samples, 91, of Cross Lanes died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her residence after a long illness
She was retired from Preston Oil Company and attended Olcott Community Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Samples, her parents, Foster and Martha Harlan, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her sisters, Ada Fore of Charleston, Mary King and Sue Bird of St. Albans, Betty Cummings of South Charleston, Cordia Estep of Madison and Bera Miller of Sweetland. A host of many nieces and nephews, and special niece, Sandy Miller of Sweetland.
Hallie is also survived by her special caregivers Mason "Hot Rod" Kirk, Debbie Kirk, Sissy Kirk and Marie Holstein.
Her wishes were to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, September 4 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
