Harley Edward Blankenship, 70, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024.

He was born on October 14, 1953, in South Charleston, to the late Harley and Phyllis Blankenship.

Eddie was a member of Ten Up Ministries Church. He was a Marine Corp Veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Annette Blankenship.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Vickie Blankenship; daughter, Jessica Adkins and husband Kenneth; son, Harley Blankenship II; step-sons, Harlen Compton and wife Alyssa, Michael Compton and wife Kristin; and several grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, at Ten Up Ministries Church, Cross Lanes, with Pastor Larry Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
