Harriet "Jenny" Scarberry, 82, of South Charleston, passed away at Hubbard Hospice House West surrounded by her children, many prayers and a host of awaiting angels on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Jenny was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in South Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Scarberry; granddaughter, Tara Sisson; mother, Violet Johnson; grandmother, Bessie Green; and one great-great-grandchild.

Jenny is survived by her son, Daniel Scarberry (Connie); daughter, Cindy Pauley (Greg); sister, Carolyn Harmon; cousin, Loretta Stamper; special niece, Brooke Hensley; cherished and loving friend, Phyliss Allison; and a loving legacy of six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, at the chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, with Rev. Paul Mateer officiating.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service in Sunset Memorial Park chapel, South Charleston.
