Hazel Mae Slater's Obituary
Mrs. Hazel Mae Slater, 86, of Quarryville, Pa., passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
She was born in Pennsboro, Ritchie County, on January 25, 1922, daughter of the late Logan Harrison and Florence Belle Maxwell Dilly. Mrs. Slater enjoyed decorating her home, knitting, crocheting and baking for her neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Slater.
She is survived by her son, Patrick V. Slater and his wife, Rosemarie Zielinski Slater of Quarryville, Pa. Also surviving is her grandson, Kenin P. Slater and his wife, Erika Hamby Slater and a great granddaughter, Alexandria M. Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Mayford Witt officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
