Helen Kathleen Cremeans' Obituary
Helen Kathleen "Kat" Cremeans, 85, of Nitro, passed away Monday, June 25, 2007 in Algood, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Hazel McMellon Rose. Kat enjoyed bowling and water aerobics for years and loved to dance. She never knew a stranger and had so many wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cremeans.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Stamper and her favorite son-in-law, Frank; brother, Jerry Rose and his wife, Marcia; two grandchildren, Terri Bishop and her husband, John and Jeff Stamper and his wife, Sabrina; five great grandchildren, Brooke Locke, PFC Stefan Stamper, with the US Army, Shaina Stamper, Tony Stamper and Joshua Workman; nieces, Connie Robinson and Lajonna Johnson and nephew, Cris Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 29, at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Nitro, with Nancy White officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 28, at the church and one hour prior to the service also at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 2008 20th Street, Nitro, WV 25143.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
