Helen D. Harrison's Obituary
Helen D. Harrison, born July 7, 1924, passed away September 10, 2007 at CAMC after a long illness.
Mrs. Harrison was born and raised in Fayette County and was a retired employee of Kanawha Banking & Trust Co., now United Bank.
She was a long standing member of the Nitro Women of the Moose and had served in its highest international capacity as Grand Regent. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Ansted.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dessa Withrow, sisters, Pauline Cole and Florence Skaggs and brother, Herbert Withrow.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John G. Harrison; two children, John G. "Buddy" Harrison, Jr. and Mary Beth Osborne; sisters, Annabell Skaggs, Francis Skaggs and brother, Emory N. Skaggs all of Ansted.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, September 13, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted, with the Rev. Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
