Helen M. Hoover, 96, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

She was a member of the Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Gordon Hoover; and one daughter, Emma Lou Carpenter.

Helen is survived by her son, Gordon Hoover and wife, Brenda, of Cross Lanes; daughters, Dianna Gibson and husband, Stanley, of Point Pleasant, Gloria Shafer and husband, Paul, of Clendenin, Brenda Williams and husband, Danny, of Florida, Mary Fletcher Aguirre and Rudy of Oklahoma, Darlene Hoover of Charleston; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, March, 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Tom Price officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
