Helen Ernestine Bradley Pritt, 98, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 25, 2022.
She was born on April 14, 1924 to the late Kenneth and Cora Bradley in Peytona, WV.
Helen graduated from Sherman High School in Seth. She worked at the Diamond Department Store in Charleston from 1966 until it closed in the early 1980's. Helen then cared for her mother until her passing in 1993. She lived in Dunbar and sat with the elderly until 2004 and then spent her remaining years with her daughter and son-in-law in Charleston.
She attended Peytona Church of Christ as a young lady and was baptized in The Coal RiverIn her later years, Helen loved attending church services and singing in the choir at the Dunbar Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Pritt, Jr.; brothers, Kenneth "Junior", William "Bill", Paul, and her twin, Harold "Cotton"; sister, Lena Bradley Itnyre; and her grandson, Charles "Chuck" Bonnette.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Bonnette Stribling, Pamela Tobia, and Virginia Moles (Dennis); three grandchildren, Tammy Tobia, Dennis Moles II, and John Bonnette; five great-grandchildren Audrey Moles, Curtis Tobia, Destiny Tobia, Michael Tobia, and Jasmine Tobia; and five great-great-grandchildren, William, Sariah, Miziah, Greyson, and Holton.
The family would like to thank Carisa, Kim, Jennifer, and Amanda from HospiceCare for their loving care of our mother. They are very special people.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 29, in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Pastor John Jenkins officiating.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
