Helen Whited, 91, of Nitro, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Whited, her parents, Vince and Margaret Pinter, her sisters, Elizabeth Sennett, Theresa Baker, Mary Fisher and infant Rose Pinter, brothers, Irvin Pinter, Joe Pinter, John Pinter, and infant Vince Pinter.
She was married to Denzil for 58 years, was a homemaker, loved gardening and loved her dog Sarah and her cat Brownie. She was a member of Rock Branch Independent Church.
She is survived by sisters, Judy Corbett and husband Andrew of Germany and Margaret Beavers and husband Pete of War; and special friends, Robert and Madeline Hill, Doris, JoAnn, Tonya and Jay and others.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 7 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 11 to 12:30 pm at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, at which time the procession will leave for the cemetery.
