Henry Thomas Oyler, 89, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

He was born on March 24, 1932 to the late Samuel Bowmen Oyler and Sarah Viola Hodges Oyler.

Henry grew up in Richwood in the trout streams of the Cranberry River. He worked at Johnson Control and retired after 33 years of service.

He became a grandpa for the first time at the age of 74. It was one of his greatest joys. Henry was a loving and caring man and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol; three brothers; and two sisters.

Henry is survived by his son, Samuel Oyler and his wife Linda; and his two grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Oyler.

The family would like to thank Angel Touch Personal Care Home and HospiceCare for their love and care of Henry during his final days.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
